HouseLens by AgentSeeker

HouseLens privacy

Anonymous by default. Nothing sold, ever.

HouseLens is built to answer questions about a property, not to track you. This page explains exactly what the extension collects, what it does not, and why.

Last updated: June 2026

The short version

What the extension reads

On a Rightmove or Zoopla listing page, HouseLens reads the public details shown on that page (such as the postcode area, street name, price, property type and floor area) so it can look up the matching records. It only runs on Rightmove and Zoopla listing pages. It does not read other websites, your tabs, or your browsing history.

What is sent to our servers

To build the panel, the extension sends the listing details above to the AgentSeeker service, together with an anonymous install id. We use that request to fetch sold prices, area data and the verified address from official sources, and to return the panel. We do not store the listing pages you view. Property and area results are cached at postcode level so the service stays fast and inexpensive; that cache is not linked to you.

The install id

When you first run HouseLens it generates a random identifier and stores it in your browser. It contains no personal information. It is sent with each request only so we can apply fair-use limits and, if you subscribe, recognise which browser is linked to your plan. You can clear it at any time by removing the extension's storage.

If you subscribe

Lite and Pro require an AgentSeeker account, identified by your email address. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We hold your email, your plan, and a count of how many properties you have unlocked in the current month so we can apply your allowance. You can manage or cancel your plan, and request deletion of your account, at any time.

Where the data comes from

The records shown in the panel come from public and official sources, including HM Land Registry, the EPC register, police.uk, the Environment Agency, Ofcom and planning.data.gov.uk, alongside AgentSeeker's own agent performance data. Some figures are estimates and are labelled as such.

Browser permissions, and why

HouseLens requests no other permissions and runs nowhere else.
